QAICL Accredited by UKAS

We are pleased to announce that following the successful participation of QAICL in the recent UKAS pilot, the company has been granted accreditation and is now fully authorised to issue certificates of compliance against the BRC/IoP Technical Standard for Food Packaging Manufacturers with effect from 20th December 2002.

This change in status will enable packaging companies, after audit and acceptance onto the scheme, to display a revised logo which incorporates the UKAS "Tick and Crown".

UKAS accreditation was the final step in satisfying the "due dilligence" requirements under UK legislation which will allow Retailers and Food Manufacturers to accept the Third Party Certification offered by QAICL without the need for additional audits.
